Out of time
Everything began again for me. But I did not forget what had come before.
For a long time, I did not tell anyone about what I perceived as memories of past lives. I assumed that such experiences were rare. When I began looking for people who had experienced something similar, I expected the search to take several years. But I soon discovered that there were far more of them than I had imagined. We simply rarely ask about such things — and people rarely speak about them. Вне времени + картинки
Beyond Time began as an attempt to meet these people and listen to their stories. Gradually, their accounts of other lives led me to a broader question: what is life, and to what extent is it limited by what we are able to see and explain?
In the portraits, I deliberately move away from representing a person as a separate, clearly defined individual. The figure dissolves into the surrounding space, and its boundaries become unstable. After hearing these stories, it became increasingly difficult for me to understand where one person ends and another begins. The project led me toward a sense of the world as a unified whole, while leaving me with a question: how real are the boundaries through which we separate ourselves from one another, one life from another, and the past from the present?
